TOEFL-iBT consists of 4 sections:
1.Reading - 35 minutes
Questions - 20 questions
Tasks - Read 3 or 4 passages from academic texts and answer question
2. Listening - 36 minutes
Questions - 28 questions
Tasks - Listen to lectures, classroom discussions and conversations, then answer questions.
3.Speaking - 16 minutes
Questions - 4 tasks
Tasks - 1 independent tasks- expression an opinion; 3 integrated tasks-responding to questions based on reading and listening passages
4.Writing - 29 minutes
Questions - 2 tasks
1 integrated task- responding to reading and listening passages;
1 independent task- supporting an opinion on a topic
Total duration of exam is less than 2 hours!
